The audiofiles were illegally downloaded via the Peer-to-Peer Software “LimeWire”. Due to increasing piracy cases, some music labels decided to distribute decoys of their own music on the platform. These files did not contain the music that users were looking for, but silence, noise, or in rare cases: Messages from the artists. The songs of the shown fake album each contain a recording of Madonna asking the listener: “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” followed by silence according to the length of the actual songs.
